This week I've been working on redecorating Ethan's room into a new toddler room. It's so sad to say bye to all the pretty baby pastels, but now that he is almost 2 1/2 and is sleeping in a toddler bed, I figured it's about time.
I repainted these letters and decided to go with using scrapbooking paper on top. I chose "Little Boy and Their Toys" scrapbooking pack as inspiration for decorating the whole room since Ethan loves trucks, cars, planes, and trains, it is prefect!
These letters are a pain to hang up individually, the holes are off and some of the letters are bigger than the other, so I've been dreading hanging them up. After debating how I would hang up the letter I saw this shelf we weren't using and light bulb , I got the idea to use it to make this!
The shelf was white, so spray painted it brown and hand painted the red gears. We drilled two holes and used twine to hang it.
Since we move a lot, this is more manageable to move and rehang!
