What I Wore

This week I have three outfits to share! First one is from my webcam again. I was trying something new with the long sleeve and sweater on top..
Photobucket
Sweater: PacSun. Long Sleeve: Maurices (love this burnout design, so I took a close up).
Belt: Charlotte Russe. Jeans: American Eagle.

Then I finally got my camera charged :) Simple outfit for an afternoon movie.

Cardigan, Scarf, & Boots: Target. Long Sleeve: Old Navy. Tank: Aeropostale. Jeans: American Eagle

Last outfit was a day out Christmas shopping. Unfortunately it rained right after I took this picture and I had to switch to shoes, but it was nice to try out the new flats!

Jacket: Old Navy. Shirt: Rue21. Flats: Maurices (clearance for $10). Jeans & Belt: American Eagle.

And it wouldn't be a What I Wore Wednesday post, without an appearance from my little man :) I think he wants in every week!

So I noticed all my jeans are from American Eagle, and I need some help finding a new store with decent jeans, any suggestions?

Every Day Moments

Family and friends always joke that Ethan will be able to see his whole life through photos.
While it's true, I absolutely love taking photos of Ethan and I make sure to capture photos of him on birthdays, holidays, and special events, such as trips to the zoo. I have to admit, my favorite photos are spontaneous ones, where I just pick up my camera and capture the every day moments in life.
The little moments in time that happen everyday, but are sometimes over looked.
Some moments in life are so miniscule, like bath times which are done every day, or every other day in our household. These moments become a routine and sometimes even a chore, that we forget the joy they bring.

Capturing these small moments in our day, is so important to me. Years to come, when Ethan is all grown up, I will think back to the little moments that made up our day. When long bath times change to quick showers, I will think about how much fun he use to have
  floating around in the tub.Photobucket

I will remember the moments spent laughing, blowing bubbles, and splashing

The moments where running water was fascinating

The moments where a little plastic duck is entertaining

The moments right after bath time, when Ethan puts on his buzz towel and watches the water go down the drain
Photobucket

And the moments when he is excited and runs around yelling "too infinity and beyond!"

Yes, these are the moments I will look back on. The everyday moments that makes my life with Ethan enjoyable.

Thankful

There's so much I am thankful for this year. God has blessed us in so many ways.
He gave us the opportunity and strength to follow our dreams
He graced us with a supportive family who continuously surprise me with how much love they have for Ethan.
He provides a roof over our head and food on our table daily.
He allows us to find joy in the little things in life and the time we spend together as a family.
Most of all, I am thankful that God as brought these two boys into my life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Peaceful Sight

It was a crisp 42 degrees today.
We packed on the layers: coat, hat, gloves and scarf and ventured outside on a trail walk.
The sun was shining and felt glorious as it warmed our faces.

To the right, was the big beautiful lake of Tomah. The water was still so we could see the reflection of the trees and sky. In the distance was a fog, which made the hills and trees look like mountains.

To the left, was a choo-choo train. Ethan was filled with excitement as he heard the choo-choo riding the tracks. With the look of pure joy on his face, he held onto the stroller and walked aside me.

It was in this moment that my heart was complete with warmth.
I thought to myself, this is a moment I want to remember.
Just then a passing car stopped in the middle of the rode. The driver rolled down her window and said with a large smile,
“You two are a peaceful sight.”
I thanked her,
and off we walked on our trail together.

Microwave Baby + Ethan Blooper

I'm bringing something new to the blog called Ethan Blooper. This is where I am going to post the hilarious and cute things Ethan has to say. At this stage, children are so innocent, curious, and honest. I just find the things they say are the greatest! Ethan makes us laugh multiple times on a daily basis, so I thought it would be fun to be able to share them and maybe make others smile too!

Are You A Cheesehead?

Are you a cheesehead?
Do you know any Green Bay Packer fans?
If so, then you know Packer fans are die hard fans!
It's beer, brats, and tailgating (in the freezing cold) at every game.
Every Sunday we get on our Packer gear, and root on our favorite team. We spend Sundays at a our families Packer party, when we are in town, and if we aren't in town, we still put on our Packer gear and watch it as a family.

Photobucket

Ethan has been rooting "Go, Pack, Go!" ever since the Packers won the Superbowl last year. He also gets vividly upset if the Packers are losing (good thing they are 9-0...whoohoo!).
So today, you will find us wearing our green and gold and rooting to get that 10-0 baby!

This video is hilarious and I highly suggest you watch it!

While everyone in blogland are getting ready for this,

I can't wait for this next week,

I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys some of this,
