Get ready for picture overload!
We celebrated Ethan's 3rd birthday with a Red & Blue Vintage Tractor Party Theme. I didn't want to do the normal yellow & green, John Deere, party (not that there's anything wrong with that). Instead we opt to go with red & blue. Great thing about it is that Ethan's room is red & blue, so everything we bought for the party can be reused in his room, very resourceful! However, the bad thing is that there wasn't much decor out there with red and blue tractors. I knew when we chose this theme it would present a challenge, but since I like to make a lot of crafts myself, I thought it would be fun!

Here is the Birthday Boy getting ready for his party. He was so surprise and overwhelmed when he walked into the local town hall and saw all his birthday decor. It was so cute!
This was the main table with decor, party favors, and candy treats.
I made this banner myself on photoshop, punched holes in the ends and used twine to string through and hang.
The food table.
We served turkey sloppy joes and cheesy potatoes.
Snacks consist of chips and salsa, potato chips, vege and dip, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, and 'dirt' (pudding with Oreo's and gummy worms).
We had two large sitting tables, one blue and one red.
I saw this cute idea on pinterest with the animals in peas and moon sand, and I thought it was super cute! So I put these together and used them as center pieces. (probably my favorite part of the decor)
We put together a small collage of black & white photos of the past year.
Here is the second, red table. I bought this fabric and tractor at hobby lobby and used it as a center piece.
We just used left over cow print fabric for the other center pieces with tractors and photos from this summer.
We set up the kids table with farm and tractor print outs so they could color and some farm animal toys. We took Ethan's sand table and put corn inside so the kids could play.
All the kids loved playing at this table!
After eating, playing, and socializing it was time for cake!
Love this photo of Ethan blowing out his candles :) Can't believe how big he is!
Boys eating cake
Then we were on to present opening. Sadly we didn't take any family photos, so this is the only one of Ethan and I from the party. Guess we were so busy we forgot!
Cooper assisted Ethan with presents ;) And the big present of the day....a tractor, duh!
Cousins riding around in the tractor.
Ethan loves this tractor and can't wait until spring so he can ride it!
The party was a great success and we were so happy to have everyone celebrate with us! Ethan's birthday is always extra special to us since Shane wasn't able to be here for Ethan's birth, he was in Iraq at the time. Every year we try to celebrate this day and remind ourselves to never take for granted the time we have together :)
Happy 3rd Birthday sweet boy!
