These are the women I first met when I arrived in Arizona. They were each welcoming, sweet, and may I add, beautiful! I was so glad I got to know them on our ride to Phoenix, even if I did get sick and we had to pull over.

I built friendships with all of these women. We each had conversations stemming from blogging, to life, to family, to personal struggles. It was nice to be around a group of women who could relate to one another, offer each other advice, and truly care about one another.
These girls (Utah Girls) were the most amazing bunch of girls I've ever met! From the start I felt we had a lot in common and I was so pleased when they invited me out to lunch and on a shopping trip. Although eating at a college campus made me feel majorly uncomfortable, these girls made me feel at easy. We went shopping and had girl time together, something I don't normal get to do and it meant more to me than they will ever know! These girls helped me forget my role as a wife and as a mother, and allowed me to just rediscovered who I am outside of these roles. It's been over 3 years since I've felt I could do this.
We found we had so much in common from life goals, to moral values, to taste in clothing. The bonding experience I had with these girls reminded me what it was like to have true girlfriends. I am so thankful to have met them!

After our afternoon of shopping, we enjoyed a little photo shoot with Nina. It was so much fun and great to get pointers from Momma Go Round herself ;)
I had a blast getting to know Nina! I found we had so much in common from being a momma to toddler boys, to being married, to being first time home buyers. We had fun conversations about height, fashion, and c-sections. I was amazed by how sweet, funny and down to Earth she was. She is just amazing and that is why I love her :)

For me, this weekend was about friendship. Meeting women in real life that I have talked to through blogs, twitter and email. Good friends are hard to come by, and I am so blessed to have been able to meet each and every one of you women in real life. You are more amazing than I could have ever imagined!

Hey Lisa!
I am a new follower- nice to meet you! I found you from Momma go Round and your story is exactly mine! My husband got out of the marine corps in 2010 after I had just given birth to our little boy (he was also in Iraq at the time!!) He is now also a police officer here in myrtle beach south carolina! I always think it's funny to see someone with a similar story to mine so it's nice to meet you! I have been slacking on my blog since I'm 7.5 months pregnant with our second but come by and say hello when you get a chance! Have a great day!!!
Love,
Lauren
