To help keep myself accountable, I thought it would be a great motivator to post a summary of my monthly runs. The month of July wasn't so great as far as runs go. With the heat advisories and the high humidity, I didn't run very much. I found that my goal wasn't to beat my personal time or run my farthest distance, it was to just get out and attempt to go on a run.
In relation to that goal, I guess I didn't do too bad, however I can see there was a whole weeks gap where I didn't run at all...
oops!
July stats: 13 runs with 27.2 total miles
I want to get those stats up this month! I made a goal for the month of August to run 40 miles! It may be a far reach goal
(unless of course the hear dies down), but setting goals seems to help keep me motivated and push myself harder.
So is anyone else with me? Want to complete 40 miles in August together?

i'm still pretty new at running, not sure if i could do 40 miles in one month. i set a goal of running at least 50 miles by the end of the year though. what app do you use? i used runkeeper

I am pretty new with the running thing and actually just wrote a post on it myself! haha. I will have to see where I am in terms of miles this month to see what my goals need to be, but they won't be anywhere near that! that is a lot of running! haha good job!
